I didnā€™t become a pet sitter overnight

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY Albany and an MBA, my passion for the outdoors took me to Australia and New Zealand for 10 years. During that time, I was introduced a holistic way of life, Reiki, and Eastern Medicine.

I had the opportunity to spend time on a farm and learn from a country vet. He taught me certain aspects of pet care such as natural healing remedies, animal behavior, and pet psychology. I have worked with over 30 breeds of dogs, cats, horses, birds, and even a koala.

My father was one of the most influential people in my life. He taught me to appreciate, love, and respect nature and animals. I started my lifelong love of the outdoors during our summers and holidays at our camp in the Adirondack mountains. In 2018, I graduated from my MBA program and moved back to the Adirondacks. I have always dreamed of my own business working with animals. When my father passed away in 2019, it inspired me to finally make that dream a reality and make happiness my priority.

DID YOU KNOW? Koala bears are native to Australia with fossil remains dating back to 25 million years ago. Koalas are sensitive around their bellies and need something to grip when being picked up. As cute as they are, they cannot be cuddled or squeezed.
